Facilities at our residential care home

All our bedrooms are light, airy, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Many have ensuite facilities, and all are connected to the nurse call system.

Our bedrooms are comfortable and cosy, creating a relaxing place which each resident can call home. All residents are encouraged to personalise their room with photographs and mementos, so that their space quickly becomes familiar and their own.

Our three lounges provide us with the opportunity to have a variety of activities happening at the same time.  We understand that everyone is different, so we offer a range of stimulating things to do every day and residents can participate in an activity of their choosing at any given time.  Although we encourage our residents to get involved, they always have the option to enjoy some quiet time instead.

Mealtimes are a time for our residents to relax, socialise and enjoy good food with good company.

Food and drinks are available for our residents 24 hours a day. Whether that’s tea, cake, or the main meal of the day, healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks will be prepared by our in-house catering team in our 5-star hygiene rated kitchen.

Our kitchen caters for all dietary, allergy and diabetic needs and welcomes meal requests.

Our large garden offers residents a safe and comfortable space to sit, relax and enjoy the sunshine. With sociable outdoor seating and shade in the summer, our garden gives the people who live at The Maples a quiet area outdoors or a place to take part in, or cheer on, garden games.
